After my Cuisinart DC8 Pro motor gave out after 35 years I needed a replacement food processor. I like the compactness of this model as I can leave on counter. Provided blades handle most of my needs. The motor seems to be heavy duty and does the job quickly. Only wish more blades available, especially dicing, as I had for my DC8.
