I'm not easily impressed and usually reserved in assessments. However, I really like this dinnerware. At first I thought the larger plates and bigger soup/salad bowls would look awkward and too big to be practical. After use I discover I really like them. You can get a nice portion of soup or salad and not have the serving to the brim of the bowl. No slopping over the brim. Same for the plate. Portions can be placed easily with space enough for entree and several side portions. The cups are good size, too. Larger than my previous and ideal size. The colors are vivid but not garish. I really like this dinnerware and would recommend it highly.
