I moved into a condo last year and was informed that I could not have a grill on my balcony (gas or electric). I researched grills online for several months and stumbled onto this one by accident. It got so many good reviews that I just had to purchase one. One consumer said that the lid was flimsy. I consider it to be lightweight. You have to lift the lid off the grill to clean it and it is so easy to do because it is not heavy. I have only had mine for a short time and I am looking forward to using it every week Also, there were some consumers concerned about the smoke. I did not find that an issue at at all.Thank you Hamilton Beach for this great grill. I have several other HB small appliances in my kitchen, also.
