Very powerful motor and extremely sharp blades result in amazing fruit smoothies. The consistency of fruit smoothies is perfect. It has a big pitcher that makes it easy to add and blend a lot of ingredients without running out of room. The motor is so powerful that it only takes a few pulses to blend most ingredients. Run it longer and you get pureed consistency that you can use a straw to drink with. Absolutely crushes ice into snow. Easy to clean, easy to use. It is just easy peasy! I have only made fruit smoothies with protein powder, and iced coffee drinks with protein powder, so I cannot comment on how well it blends vegetables. The recipe book has recipes that include vegetables. It appears that when added in a specific order, it will blend vegetables well.
